In this seminar we address interesting problems from Human Resource Planning. What is optimal work planning for the personell in a production plant? Which particularities are to consider in planning für train- or flight-personell? What ist to take in account in planning for hospitals?
In this seminar you will get an overview of the challenges in Human Resource Planning and how methods from Operations Research can help tackle them. For that we look into exact as well as heuristic solution approaches. To consider are not only empoyment laws and costs, but also aspects of fairness.
